LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Sayre School partners with Lighthouse Ministries to provide Thanksgiving meals and socks to people in need.
For almost 20 years, Sayre School and Lighthouse Ministries have partnered together to provide Thanksgiving meals and socks to people in need in Lexington. They serve meals to more than 200 people, including about 40 children.
Traditionally, students at Sayre donate food and socks to Lighthouse Ministries. The preschoolers to eighth graders bring donated food for dinner, while the high school students provide the desserts and socks.
