Police investigating downtown Lexington shooting that left property damaged

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Officers with the Lexington Police Department are investigating after a Sunday night shooting left property damaged near Shiloh Baptist Church.

According to the Lexington Police Department, officers were dispatched around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30, to the area of Engman Avenue and North Martin Luther King Boulevard in response to reports of shots being fired nearby.

Officers found shell casings near the intersection and property damage at the scene. No injuries in the shooting were reported.
