LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Fayette County Public Schools is expanding a program that blends students’ well-being with a fresh haircut. The district announced the opening of two new school-based barbershops, including one at Winburn Middle School, as part of a growing effort to boost confidence and connection among students.
The initiative is run in partnership with Sharp Futures Foundation, a nonprofit already operating in several Kentucky schools—including Tates Creek Middle.
