1 severely injured, 1 charged in Lexington apartment complex assault investigation

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a reported Tuesday evening assault near a Lexington apartment complex.

Around 6 p.m. on Dec. 2, officers with the Lexington Police Department told FOX 56 news that they’d been dispatched to the 100 block of Lakeshore Drive off Richmond Road in response to a reported assault.

Authorities said a victim was found at the scene and taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
