FRANKFORT, Ky. (KT) – State Rep. Michael Lee Meredith, R-Oakland, has been appointed Vice Chair of the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance Committee of the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL).
The NCSL is a nationally respected bipartisan organization that supports state lawmakers and advances sound public policy across the country.
As part of his new role, Meredith traveled to Washington, D.C., on Nov. 19 and 20, to participate in a series of meetings. That included a legislators-only policy briefing at the White House with members of President Donald Trump’s staff.
