Google has released its annual “Year in Search” report, which lists the most popular questions on people’s minds and trending searches on sports, music, news, and more. The local search hub has divided results into four categories or common prompts: Songs, tickets, what does [slang] mean, and jerseys.

Lexington’s most sought-after songs
2025 was the year of the Taylor Swift takeover. On the heels of the massive sell-out Eras Tour, the popstar and her Kansas City Chiefs boyfriend, Travis Kelce, were at the front of mind with her first podcast appearance on New Heights to announce “The Life Of a Showgirl.”
