On December 8, 2025, the Kentucky State Police announced plans to conduct traffic safety checkpoints in the Post 7 district. This district includes Madison, Clark, Estill, Lee, Owsley, Jackson, Mercer, Boyle, Lincoln, Garrard, and Jessamine counties.
