A suspect who allegedly fired shots at officers during a pursuit has been arrested, according to the Georgetown Police Department.
The incident began around 3 a.m. Tuesday when police attempted to pull over a vehicle near Paynes Depot. The driver, who was not identified, fled from officers toward Stamping Ground, according to police. The agency did not say why officers initiated the traffic stop.
