NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — It is a busy Main Street in downtown Nicholasville, and even in the cold, people still need to get where they are going, which means someone has to clear the sidewalks.
“It gets you out of that mental prison that you are confined in,” Franklin Kegley, an inmate at the Jessamine County Detention Center, said.

Most days, Kegley and his crew spend their time in confinement, but on mornings like this, they are up early to work.
