KENTUCKY — A large number of school districts, Head Start programs, and private schools across Kentucky have announced closures, delays, and virtual learning days for Monday, December 15, 2025, as winter weather continues to affect road conditions and travel safety across the region.
Several public school systems will be closed and operating under Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) days, including Breathitt County, Estill County, Fleming County, Floyd County, Franklin County, Harrison County, Jackson County, Lawrence County, Leslie County, Mason County, Nicholas County, Robertson County, Rowan County, Scott County, Wolfe County, and Boyd County Public Schools, which noted Monday will be NTI Day #3.
Bourbon County, Bracken County, Paris Independent, Lewis County, and Rowan County reported traditional snow days. Grant County, Henry County, and Augusta Independent Schools also announced full closures…
