NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) – For more than a decade, the Jessamine County Detention Center has been trying to prepare inmates for life beyond jail. That includes the work they’re doing within and the physical work they put into their community.
“I’ve told people before, I think it’s the future of corrections, is giving these individuals as much resources that we can to help them when they get out not to come back,” said Jon Sallee, Jessamine County jailer.
