Kentucky-American Water customers will pay more for their water starting next month.
According to a press release, the Kentucky Public Service Commission approved a rate increase that will add about $13 to the average monthly bill.
The utility company says the extra money will go toward infrastructure improvements and system upgrades, and the rate request was primarily driven by more than $212 million in water treatment and distribution system improvements made since the company’s last rate filing…
