LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Two adults and four children were reportedly displaced with Christmas just a week away after a Wednesday night fire at a Lexington apartment complex.
Officials with the Lexington Fire Department (LFD) told FOX 56 News that around 8:20 p.m. on Dec. 17, crews had been sent to the 200 block of Patchen Drive in response to reports of a structure fire. When they arrived, smoke was seen coming out of the building.

First responders with the LFD entered the building and quickly put out a “small fire” that had extended into the attic, officials said.
No injuries have been reported, and the American Red Cross and managers of the apartment complex have been working with the family in the wake of Wednesday’s fire. An investigator with the department is still working to find what caused it…
