Lexington man accused of shooting vehicle after nearly causing crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Officers with the Lexington Police Department arrested a man who allegedly shot at a vehicle Thursday morning after nearly crashing into it.

According to police reports, Juan Godoy, 21, was allegedly speeding in the area of Appian Court and Centre Parkway around 9 a.m. on Dec. 18. He reportedly nearly crashed into another vehicle.

Godoy allegedly drove up next to the other vehicle and shot at it, police reports said. No injuries were reported.

Godoy was arrested and charged with one count of first-degree wanton endangerment, receiving stolen property (a firearm), operating a vehicle with an expired license, and two counts of first-degree criminal mischief…
