Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library put on pause in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. — A book-gifting program founded by country music superstar, Dolly Parton, is being put on pause by the Fayette Education Foundation. After January, families will no longer receive books from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

Funding sustainability concerns are putting a pause on 8,000 Fayette County families signed up for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library from receiving books.
