Man allegedly steals cash from ATM being serviced in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Lexington police are looking for a man who allegedly stole cash from an ATM while it was being serviced.

It happened around 10:40 a.m. on Dec. 13, Lexington police said, and officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Georgetown Road.

Witnesses reported that the ATM was being serviced when the man entered. Then, he took an undetermined amount of cash and fled on foot.

Police described him as a thin man, standing around 5 feet 8 inches tall. At the time, he was wearing a black jacket with a gray hoodie and tennis shoes with a “distinct white sole.”
