Charges pending after man surrenders in Richmond barricade situation

RICHMOND, Ky. (FOX 56) — Richmond investigators said charges are pending against a man who reportedly barricaded himself in a Richmond neighborhood home on the day after Christmas.

According to the Richmond Police Department (RPD), officers had been dispatched on Dec. 26 to the 2100 block of Clark Drive after a “reported altercation” in the area.

Authorities said that after the supposed fight, a man ran into a house and, after negotiating with RPD officers, surrendered peacefully.
