FAYETTE COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) – A grand jury in Fayette County is expected to hear evidence later this month in the case of a former University of Kentucky student accused of hiding her dead newborn in a closet.
Laken Snelling, 22, is charged with abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence and concealing the birth of an infant. Prosecutors said the grand jury could also consider a charge of murder or manslaughter, depending on the outcome of the investigation.
