Paris, Ky. — A new Little Red Blessing Food Box was officially unveiled this week in front of The Voyage Movement multipurpose center at 440 W. 7th Street, bringing round-the-clock access to food and resources to residents in the area.
The brightly painted box is part of a growing ministry founded by Cynthia Buckner, a Lexington native, and marks the fifth of six Little Red Blessing boxes placed across the greater Lexington region. Each box is stocked by community members and includes a QR code that helps users locate the other boxes throughout the area, strengthening a shared network of care.
The dedication carried deep personal meaning for Terry Dumphord, founder of The V.O.Y.A.G.E. Movement, who dedicated the box in honor of his late grandmothers, Mary Lee Dumphord and Rose Mary Kenney.
