Bicyclist hospitalized after being hit by car in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A bicyclist in Lexington was hospitalized on Sunday evening after reportedly being hit by a car.

According to the Lexington Fire Department, the person riding the bicycle was hit around 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 28 in the area of Newtown Pike.

Officials said the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
