Lexington man arrested following alleged knife attack

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly forced his way into a Lexington home Tuesday and attempted to stab the residents.

Officers were called to a home in the 1600 block of Liberty Road at 4:15 a.m. Dec. 30 after receiving reports that a man, later identified as Dion Hale, 35, had forcibly entered the residence.

According to court documents, Hale allegedly forced open the door and brandished a knife, causing damage to the entryway. Police said he stood over a woman inside the home and made “aggressive movements” toward her.

Hale also allegedly attempted to stab another male resident. Court records show the two struggled, and Hale placed the man in a chokehold, causing visible injuries…
