Food box initiative connects Kentucky neighbors through acts of service

LEXINGTON, Ky. — A sentimental front-porch giveaway has grown into multiple Little Red Blessing food boxes across central Kentucky neighborhoods.

“I said, I’m going to make red beautiful, loving, because we all have red blood running through our bodies,” Cynthia Buckner said.
