Vince Marrow is never shy when it comes to popping on X and popping off about his successes. Just look through his feed, and you’ll find plenty of self-high-fives (and plenty of typos).
The former Kentucky associate head coach switched sides to the Cardinals last offseason. The Cards got the last laugh on the field, engineering a 41-0 win in what turned out to be Mark Stoops’ last game as coach in Lexington. Since then, Marrow has grabbed five former Kentucky players in the portal and hasn’t been shy about bragging about it.
But when Kentucky Assistant GM Pete Nochta flipped the script on Monday, Marrow took the bait and committed a massive “self-own.”
