Kentucky domestic violence deaths increase annually as Lexington murder case highlights growing crisis

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Domestic violence homicides in Kentucky have increased by two or three people each year, according to an advocate in Richmond, reaching nearly 60 deaths last year.

The latest case involves Roberto Paredes, who appeared in Fayette County District Court on Friday afternoon. He’s facing three felony charges in the stabbing death of the mother of his child, Anisleys Lantaron.
