LEXINGTON, Ky. — A 70-year-old Clark County man has been handed a significant prison sentence that will likely keep him behind bars for the rest of his life. On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, U.S. District Judge Danny C. Reeves sentenced Tommy Martin to 480 months (40 years) imprisonment for multiple drug trafficking and firearm violations.
The sentencing follows a federal jury trial in Lexington on September 24, 2025, where Martin was found guilty of 11 felony violations. These charges included six counts of distributing methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute, and multiple firearm offenses, including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and using a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.
