A peaceful stroll along the scenic River Palisades in Kentucky was all the woman expected. She looked forward to fresh air and quiet views, nothing more.
But as she walked, her attention was suddenly caught by something out of place. A slight motion on the cliffside, accompanied by faint cries, made her stop in her tracks.
Drawn by both hesitation and concern, she moved closer to get a better look. What she saw left her breathless. Balanced precariously on a narrow ledge nearly 100 feet above the ground was a tiny furry creature, stranded and completely alone.
