RICHMOND, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Green Alert for a missing veteran has been canceled after Richmond police announced that he was found dead on Monday evening.
Officials with the Richmond Police Department (RPD) announced that just after 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 2, Nathan Branstutter was found deceased.

“Richmond Police sends our condolences to the Branstutter Family and all who knew and loved Nathan,” authorities wrote. “As a veteran of the U.S. Military, we are deeply grateful for Nathan’s service to our country, which gives us the freedom to serve and protect our local communities. Regarding the family, we ask that our community respect their privacy and offer their thoughts and prayers in this time of grieving.”
Funeral arrangements for Branstutter have yet to be announced to the public…
