The North Carolina man shot by Lexington police officers during a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon has died.
The Fayette County Coroner’s Office confirmed Friday that Brooks Plemmons, 40, of Clemmons, N.C., was pronounced dead at 6:22 p.m. Thursday at University of Kentucky Hospital. The cause and manner of his death are pending an autopsy.
