LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Temperatures across the Bluegrass climbed above freezing on Monday, but many residents looked out their windows to find that the snow and ice hadn’t gone anywhere.
On National Avenue, businesses have encountered a particular problem caused by one massive snow pile that won’t melt.
“We’ve got a great big snow mound,” Chad Walker, a property owner on National Avenue, said in a Facebook video on Feb. 6. “We’ve been dealing with snow and ice like everyone else, and so we’ve decided to have a contest.”
