LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Snow and ice still cover road and street shoulders as well as turning lanes more than two weeks after a major winter storm, making driving dangerous across the region.
According to the Madison County Coroner, a driver died Saturday night after veering off an icy Interstate 75 in Madison County, running off the shoulder and striking a treeline.
In Lexington’s East End, residents say plows are needed but the trucks are creating additional problems by pushing snow and ice against parked vehicles.
