LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Nearly a year after their arrest, the charges against two University of Kentucky students accused of rape and strangulation have been dismissed.
FOX 56 previously reported that the Lexington Police Department arrested Addison Adkins and Angus Thompson on March 3, 2025. They were 18 at the time.

According to a University of Kentucky crime bulletin, campus police received a sexual assault report in late February that had allegedly occurred in a Ball Hall dorm room.
Thompson and Adkins turned themselves in two weeks later. According to the university, they were suspended shortly after the arrest warrants were issued, and a court order prohibited them from being on campus…
