LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Leaders with Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) announced calendar updates on Thursday morning, with a plan in place to make up for time lost to traditional snow days after the district had to miss nearly two weeks of class.
Just after 9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12, FCPS officials posted the updated 2025-26 board-approved calendar on Facebook, complete with planned make-up dates.

According to the calendar, the current snow make-up days are set for March 20 and April 13. May 29 and the first five days of June are slated as “possible snow make-up days” for the district.
