Case against man charged in toddler’s overdose death goes to grand jury

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — New developments in the case against a man accused in the overdose death of 18-month-old Cho’zyn Wilson in Lexington — as the case is now moving forward to a grand jury.

According to court proceedings Friday, Ka’Darrius Warren appeared for his scheduled preliminary hearing. Following the hearing, the case was waived to the grand jury for further consideration.

Warren is charged with murder in connection with a 2022 overdose death, according to court records.
