University of Kentucky declines comment after reference in new Epstein emails

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The University of Kentucky declined to comment on newly released Jeffrey Epstein emails that reference an associate’s ties to the campus and a former student who pursued a job with the late financier.

UK appears only a handful of times in the documents, primarily through references made by Robert Trivers, an evolutionary biologist and sociobiologist whose correspondence with Epstein spans several years.

In one email, Epstein suggested that Trivers look into “transgender biology” and that he was ready to fund his research.

“No one knows how to pick up my spirits better than you,” Trivers wrote. “I am getting to the end of ‘transsexuality.’”…
