2 KSU students injured in early-morning shooting at Lawrenceburg Airbnb party

LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (FOX 56) β€” An investigation is underway after a shooting early Saturday morning in Lawrenceburg left two people hospitalized.

Kentucky State Police said troopers were called shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Feb. 14 to Lover’s Leap Road following reports of shots fired.

According to a news release, a preliminary investigation indicates that between 50 and 75 Kentucky State University students were attending a large party at an Airbnb property when an altercation broke out. During the disturbance, someone allegedly fired a gun.
