Lexington police seek suspect in early morning store break-in

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Lexington Police Department is looking for a man who allegedly broke into a store.

Around 6 a.m. on Jan. 30, police were called to the 100 block of East Tiverton for a reported burglary.

In security footage, officers saw a man break a window with what they believed to be a claw hammer, enter the store, and take merchandise before fleeing the area.

The person was described as a tall male with a thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark blue pants with a white stripe, black and white Nike shoes, and a black face mask.
