Louisville man pleads guilty in federal drug trafficking case

LEXINGTON – A Louisville man federally charged with drug trafficking in Magoffin County has signed a plea agreement ahead of a hearing to change his plea.

Robert E. Pilgrim, 36, of Louisville, asked the court this week for a rearraignment hearing, submitted with a signed plea agreement between him and the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Pilgrim is scheduled for rearraignment on February 18, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the federal courthouse in Lexington.

Pilgrim was indicted in October 2024 on one count of possession with the intent to distribute 500 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance, in Magoffin County, on or about August 15, 2023…
