Disabled aircraft closes Blue Grass Airport runway, diverts flights to Cincinnati

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A private aircraft was disabled on a runway at Blue Grass Airport on Friday, causing delays in landings.

An airport spokesperson told FOX 56 that the aircraft had two blown tires, temporarily closing one runway.

Because of the closure, United Flight 4602 was diverted to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
