CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) – Clark County Judge-Executive Les Yates has resigned, he confirmed to WKYT. The resignation was effective Tuesday at 4 p.m.
Yates said he submitted his resignation letter to the governor’s office Tuesday. However, officials and fiscal court members said they were not made aware of the resignation, causing confusion at a Clark County Fiscal Court meeting Wednesday.
