A section of Nicholasville Road near New Circle Road is expected to be blocked off for multiple hours Thursday morning after a tractor-trailer overturned, according to the Lexington Traffic Management Center.
The crash was reported around 7:20 a.m. in the outbound lanes of Nicholasville Road. Officials originally expected the road to be closed for 2 to 3 hours, but just after 9:30 a.m., the traffic management center said drivers will not be able to use outbound Nicholasville Road at New Circle Road for several more hours.
