Kentucky’s ‘false spring’ is here. See final frost dates for your area

Some Kentuckians might be tempted to plant spring flowers and vegetables soon, with warm temperatures and rainy conditions impacting the region. The National Weather Service in Louisville shows high temperatures in the 70s in the coming days, but don’t celebrate too early.

Those temperatures won’t last — it’s still technically winter, and the final spring freeze, the last day temperatures hit 32 degrees, typically doesn’t occur in early March.
