Dog rescued from 40-foot hole in Jessamine County

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — Crews in Jessamine County rescued a dog Friday after it fell roughly 40 feet into a hole, while crews were already responding to a separate emergency.

According to the Jessamine County Fire Department, crews were battling a structure fire on the south side of Nicholasville on March 6 when they received a second call reporting a dog trapped in a hole in the Highbridge area.
