Winchester police welcome puppy Gus to serve community as therapy dog

WINCHESTER, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Winchester Police Department has welcomed a new furry, four-legged member to its team after the department’s therapy dog officially earned his certification this week.

Gus, a 9-month-old Labradoodle, began his journey a little more than eight months ago at Ultimate Canine when the Winchester Police Department decided it was time to bring home a new therapy canine.
