Trigg County senior Emma Dowell has been accepted into the Eastern Kentucky University PGA Golf Management Program, an opportunity that will allow her to combine her passion for golf with a pathway to a career in the golf industry.
Dowell signed with the school on Friday at Wildcat Gym. Her high school coach, Doug Hargrove, said her dedication to the sport made the opportunity a natural fit.
“I knew she had a passion for the game and a passion for the process,” Hargrove said. “The process being at practice, playing, studying the game, and being engaged in everything you do, and I knew very quickly she had that.”…
