Former beauty queen Laken Snelling has been charged with murder for the death of her newborn baby, who was found dead in August 2025, the Lexington Police Department said.
The former University of Kentucky student-athlete, 22, was indicted for first-degree manslaughter, abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence and concealing the birth of an infant, officials said. In the state of Kentucky, first-degree manslaughter is worth 10 to 20 years in prison.
