GARRARD COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Garrard County Sheriff’s Office says a Cartersville man has been arrested following an investigation into methamphetamine distribution in the area.
Investigators say 65-year-old Charles Gregory Sergent of Cartersville was taken into custody after deputies determined he had been receiving and distributing methamphetamine throughout the Cartersville and Berea communities.
Authorities say the investigation uncovered what deputies described as a methamphetamine pipeline originating in California and supplying drugs into the local area. Investigators believe Sergent received and distributed several pounds of methamphetamine as part of the operation…
