LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The owner of a dog involved in a dog attack of a two-year-old last week has been charged.
Officials with Lexington-Fayette Animal Care and Control announced on Monday, March 16, that the owner had been identified after asking the public for tips five days ago.

FOX 56 previously reported that the attack happened on the evening of March 9 at Woodland Park.
“The owner of the dog involved in the bite has been identified as Najae Williams and has been cited in connection with the incident. The dog, a terrier mix, is currently being held at the shelter for the required quarantine period. The dog will remain in our care until the quarantine hold is completed,” Jai Hamilton with Lexington-Fayette Animal Care and Control said.
