LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Jessamine County Schools is defending its decision to hold classes Tuesday amid winter weather conditions.
In a statement to families, Superintendent Sara Crum said the district assessed roads at 5:30 a.m. and found them safe for travel. At that time, officials said they did not anticipate additional snow accumulation based on the forecast available.
