Kentucky drivers react to sudden gas price hike

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — According to GasBuddy petroleum analyst Patrick De Haan, Kentucky currently ranks fourth in the nation for the highest average increase in gas prices compared to a month ago.

A March 18 update from GasBuddy showed that gas prices are hovering around $3.70 per gallon. Some stations in nearby Jessamine County, particularly in Nicholasville, are selling gas for roughly 30 to 40 cents less. That price gap is drawing attention and, in some cases, longer lines, as drivers consider whether the extra trip is worth the savings.
