LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton said her office is prioritizing safety heading into the summer months after a downtown weekend crowd turned into a crime scene overnight.
Police say 20-year-old Kaydence Carpenter drove her car into a group of people. She is facing several charges, including wanton endangerment and driving under the influence.
